Hi. I'm Wheeler, and I write.
Howdy! Glad you're here. Picture me handing you a steaming hot cappuccino and nestling in across from you in a cushy booth. That's one of my favorite places to be. I'm currently a San Diego transplant from the Midwest, born and raised in Kansas City. I'm not very good at describing myself, so check out the description of a 6 on the Enneagram and that'll sum me up pretty darn well. I believe firmly in good espresso, camping trips in the mountains, the Kansas City Royals, and hand-written notes.
I am currently figuring out what my role is as a baby pine tree in a big ol' forest. Jesus found me for real about four years ago and I've never been the same. I think stories are really, really important, and that's why I tell pieces of mine here. I think words are important too, and they're slowly losing their magic and I don't want to see that happen. I humbly claim writing as my artistic gift and I want to use it primarily to glorify my Creator, but also to point others to the grace he gives and to encourage people to speak up in vulnerability and honesty. After all, "we're all just walking each other home."
